She is a mixed race Filipino American who halves her life between the Philippines and the United States. Her work has appeared in Likhaan: The Journal of Contemporary Philippine Literature, Berkeley Poetry Review, Nashville Review, The Margins, Hobart, The Journal, wildness, and elsewhere.
